A Conversation Centered on Families and Providers
The Changing Table is designed to give Utah families and child care providers an opportunity to speak directly with candidates about the issues affecting their communities.
PART 1 | UNDERSTANDING THE ISSUES
We'll begin with a 30-minute overview of Utah's child care challenges, including recent changes to child care assistance, affordability, and the impact on working families and providers.
PART 2 | YOUR DISTRICT, YOUR VOICE
Participants will then move into virtual breakout rooms organized by legislative district. Candidates who choose to participate will have the opportunity to hear directly from the families and child care providers in the communities they hope to represent.
PART 3 | BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS BEYOND THE EVENT
The Changing Table is more than a one-time conversation. It is an opportunity to begin building ongoing relationships between communities and the people making decisions about child care.
Our goal is to ensure families and providers have a meaningful voice in the conversations and decisions that affect them.
Your experience belongs in this conversation!
Whether you receive child care assistance, pay privately, struggle to find affordable care, or operate a child care program, we want to hear from you.
